<---San Clemente is easier for me...

Me too. How about we plan it out a run to Orig Mikes or Enderle for another weekend before the November PCA Cone Zone in Seal Beach while we are in San Clemente tomorrow?

I don’t know... it was kind of boring at Porsche’s and pastry’s.
Dave and Caesar showed up. Always fun chatting with them and catching up. One other 914 wth a 2.7 and flag mirrors.
Nice conversion, but needs a paint job. Otherwise mainly Porsche’s and some cool VW’s. Jeff Zwart hangs out there and brought his 906. I like the San Clemente C&C better since it has more variety of cars. Sucks that it’s now 9-11 due to the noise issues.

Nine 0'clock will wreck the San Clemente Cars 'N Coffee event.

People like to go early, shoot the shit, and go on with their day.

Before Hoyland chimes in I did try to get permission to put the VIN in the database. The guy was not very understanding and requested that I not do it. Oh well.

I also agree with Lawrence that the later time will curb attendance. Takes up too much of Saturday.

I would rather go where most of the 914 guys go. I visit my parents every other Saturday, so I would only be able to attend San Clemente every other weekend, due to the time change. The traffic will also suck on the freeway at that time, which will also keep people away.

My guess is that the later timing at San Clemente will eventually kill it, and agree with all your comments. There is a C&C at the shopping place located at the corner of PCH and Crown Valley that I attended about a year ago. Maybe there were 40 cars(?). I bet it has got bigger. Let's try it next week?

San Clemente C&C changed there time to 9-11
Tomorrow we are going to check out the cars & coffee at Gelsen's in Dana Point.

What about "Porsches and Pancakes" tomorrow morning by the Lido theater in Newport?

Has anybody gone to that event?

Looks like more of a breakfast than a shoot the shit/ walk the parking lot. Although, it is closer than Dana Point....

PCA breakfast is boring, unless you have friends in PCA and like looking at new Porsche’s you can’t afford. Porsche’s and Pastry’s C&C in Tustin is worthwhile if we could get more 914’s to attend.
