Hi

I need some CV joint gaskets for a 914 but am unlikely to find them from a Porsche shop here down under. Am I likely to easily source them from a VW spares place and if so what reference (i.e model VW) do I use?

Thanks
Robert

I do not know where you can get them but to slove this, i bought a roll of gasket paper, greased the end of the joint , prerssed it against the paper to get the shape, some 2 minute of scissor work later,, 1 CV gasket

You can use the bug CV boot, but there is no gasket on a bug.

With the 914 you must use a gasket. A couple of bucks in postage aught to get them to you from NA. I always keep some in stock.
