About possibly getting a group rate at the Sweetbrier Inn, has anyone already reserved a room there? Any idea how many total we'll have there?
I plan to reserve a room there for us tonight so I will ask about a group rate if nobody else has already. |

Looking at MapQuest, Abbotsford looks like it would be a fair bit out of our way. It looks like shooting for Spokane on the first day sounds like a good plan. MapQuest says about 5 hours from Spokane to Portland, so thats a nice drive. Unfortunately, it says a 15 hour drive from Regina to Spokane. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

Spokane on the first night means 770 miles Tuesday and only 360 on Wednesday. You may want to stop in Sandpoint or someplace near the border. You will still have time for a Camp 914 tour in the afternoon. It is located on the way to your motel.

I didn't read all of the replys, but a suggestion for those of you comming down from the north. If you do end up in San Fran. get on the 101 south. It more scenic, COOLER, more places to stop, the 101 leads through Camarillo and the hotel is off the Los Posas Road exit. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving-girl.gif)
