Worldpac sells them so any auto supplier should be able to get them quickly.

How about pictures of the actual product for sale rather than the OEM part?
Posting pictures of parts that are not what you are actually selling shows AA continues the bait and switch game that has made the the hated business that they are. The only pair I saw on a car fit like crap. I would not buy them even if they looked perfect. Had a Pelican customer bought a pair of the clear lenses. One lens was filled with air bubbles. Not sure he ever got it resolved. A friend who used to work at AA told me they would sell a used damaged part part as NOS. They would spray it with Krylon paint, throw it in a box wet and ship it. What kind of business owner would allow or condone that. I dealt with the twice and they screwed up both times. Fuch them. Fuch your facebook likes. Thank for showing us you are still the fuched up company with a fuched up owner. |

I bought a few things from them when I first bought my 914. Then I bought a thermostat from them. Talked to a guy on the phone, took my CC number and info. 2 months later the part didn't show up. Called back and found out they didn't have the thermostat; demanded my money back. They gave me a refund. That was the last time I dealt with them.

I'm not all that organized, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) but the Universe works in strange ways. Just yesterday my wife handed me a receipt she'd found and asked if I needed it. Wouldn't you know, it was for a pair of these lenses, dated 2/8/11. Hmmmmm...
I still have one, IIRC the other broke and got tossed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Wonder if, as someone suggested, an exchange program might take place? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

Why is there no mention of this offer on the nearly dead 914 club site?
Just this: http://www.914club.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=429757 This is just a typical BS social media promotion. Anyone who participates is simply being used. I will be shocked if anyone ever receives anything. |

When I bought my 914 back in 2009, you were the only game in town, at least that's what I thought. I bought a lot of parts from AA. I had to return half of them because I was sent the wrong parts, plus there were a lot of of back orders. I placed an order for a 1.8L air intake tube, it was back ordered. A year later it shows up at my door and my credit card charged without any notice. Hell, I could have sold the car by then. I had to hog out the ends with a Dremel to make it fit, and clean up all the snot hanging from the inside of the tube. Really piss pour quality. I ordered the ultimate air dam with brake duct holes for $238.00. You sent the wrong part and charged $116.58 shipping!!! I bought the same one from Ecklers for $212 shipped! Rear valance, no notches, your price $162.50. Bought from Ecklers for $84.50. So Catherine, if you were in my shoes, would you give a company like this a second chance???
