I heard a rumor that Catherine is really George Hussey in fake drag working this offer. I was going to send Catherine a personal message with my personal good thoughts about George then decided at the last minute to delete it. Good thing if it's really George behind these messages. When I moved to Marietta going on 7 years ago I learned of AA. As it turns out they are only about 5 miles from where I live. At the time I had a /6 conversion that I built. She was running " good " but not quite right. I had a feeling the Weber carb's needed some work. Having recently moved I just didn't have the time to rebuild them myself. Despite being warned by several world members I took my car there. Now keep in mind the car was running good . I get a call from some wrench there that the carb's need to be rebuilt. Going to run $2,000.00 plus ! Yikes but I said go ahead. A few days later I get a call that the car is ready to be picked up. I told the " sales clerk " that I wanted to hear the car start/run before paying. The " mechanic " that did the work met me at my car with the keys. He stated go ahead and pump the throttle once and she'll start and purr like a kitten. The car would not start (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) And by not start I mean after 30 minutes of screwing around in the parking lot it still would not start. Good solid spark so had to be fuel. The mechanic screwed around for another hour or so and finally got it started. I took it for a test drive it ran horrible (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) . I limped the car back to AA and they proceeded to pull all the jets, blow them out and replace. Finally got the car running so I paid and got the hell out of there. One week later took the car to Franz Blum and they diagnosed the problem..........the carb's needed rebuilding !!! That's what I just paid for at AA ! I drove down to FB and they showed me the mess..........I was pissed ! I called AA and asked for George.........he told me the car was running " great " when it left his shop and too bad for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) I vowed then to NEVER EVER buy one more item from AA and I have kept up my end of the bargain. Oh and when I picked the car up from FB it was running great ! If AA caught fire I wouldn't even bother to piss on the ashes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/KMA.gif) George you reap what you sow your business model of screwing over customers is catching up with you. Later a$$hole !

Speaking of Catherine being Georges alter ego. . Years ago I was told that Lionel is really George, and it's his Ebay persona because he likes Lionel trains also. . . never got a confirmation but it make sense with the crap Lionel tries to sell on Ebay as 'vintage and rare'

That is true. He also has other websites that don't mention the autoatlanta name.

Catherine of Auto Atlanta is Catherine (kiki) the original poster of the thread. This is Lina, the person that authored the post content and the comments. My words evidently awakened the anger in many of you. That was not my intent. I am originally from Bulgaria, and we always express what we feel and think no matter what the outcome. I knew that there was animosity toward the Auto Atlanta name and George Hussey but I had no idea as to the depth of your resentment. I should have looked deeper into this and read more of your posts before just diving in and appearing to dismiss them. After hours of review, your grievances are now as serious to me as they are to you.

From now on, I will only post as myself, not as the conscience of the company. I will follow this post with an introduction post in a more appropriate thread and will continue to post under Lina at autoatlanta . I hope I can become a part of your club not just someone who posts a few times and quiets down. We have so much great a happenings here, that it will enhance the value of the club for all of its members, and hopefully make me a valued contributor. Lina Chahova

I'm sure we appreciate the candor, it's not something that's going to change overnight unfortunately. Some are too far gone to bring back, others have had decent experiences, and will be less likely to bash.

I've not had a bad experience, but it was only limited to a couple of transactions, nothing terribly difficult to mess up. Also, I did speak directly with George, and found him to be a personable guy.

Lina, I believe your intentions are real but I doubt you will see any change in this communities feeling toward your employer. If you were in America 20 years ago you may remember a cartoon strip that ran under the name of "Peanuts" and the charectors Charlie Brown and Lucy. Every Autumn she would trick Charlie into kicking the football which she held. As he begAn with his kick she would withdraw the ball and he would end up on his back. EVERY YEAR.
