I recently pull and replaced seals in my 1974 5 speed transmission. When refilling it with oil, I used 80W-90 weight oil but grabbed the bottles I have for my boat lower unit. It says 'Marine' on the bottle. The oil is blue versus the normal color and I thought that was odd but didn't realize what I had done. I have driven the car about 25 miles and just realized what I had done early this morning (5 am).

So I am wondering if I need to change it out or is what I have in it just fine. Wonder if there is a big enough difference between the car versus marine transmission oil.
