> 914World Classifieds Rules

We've established the following rules to help make your sales/purchases as successful as possible!
- Please List WTB:, FS:, TRADE: etc (want to buy, for sale, and trade respectively) before your add title.
- You *must* put a price in your ad and state how you would like payment!
- If you'd like to bump your ads, feel free to do so every two days.
- DO NOT MAKE YOUR ADS IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS! It's considered rude.
- All eBay ads belong in the eBay category.
- Please consolidate your ads into one big lump... listings and pictures together in one thread. Please be considerate of other classified users!!
- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

Everyone can relax. I had a wonderful conversation w/ssuperflyoldguy and we agreed this chassis wasn't for him. Plus, I'd never leave you folks high and dry after committing to provide the parts.
We're on track for everyone to get their parts off my car so it's all good.

Merry happy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa_smiley.gif)

This whole process started me thinking about what I may have extra and what I could give away.. I will be searching my parts hoard and see if I can start a give away thread for Christmas.. Not sure what I have but gotta have something.

In the Classic Mini World (I've suggested this before) Someone sends a big box out with something/s (914 of course) someone can use - some generous soul can drop a few things in to start (MB911?). You receive box as from a coordinated list - you take out what is in the box (if you like it) and replace it with something else. You never know what's in the box until you get it. Forward to next on the list. Don't know about chrome rear bumpers but if they're close, maybe a cars&coffee&gift local meeting. No ash trays.

Could be a good Christmas swap meet opportunity too. I have a few things....

Articles could be
Door handles
Trunk latch
shift coupling
caliper
just riffing here

I would like the rear hubs. I can send you a tool to remove them and prepay the shipping.

Donor vehicle. Sad to see it die but good to know it's helping others live.
It really is the season of giving... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa_smiley.gif)

Stephen,
Is this the correct cut line for what you need? And relax everyone, that's not the car I'm cutting up! I didn't have a pic of that area of the donor car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hey TYGABOY: if you are doing a 6 conversion, consider drilling all of the oil tank holes in the sheet metal you are receiving in this thread / it is a lot easier to set up templates and drill when out on your work bench rather than the Harry Hunit upside down in reverse with a angle drill and toothed bit aimed at your vitals approach....
