@Mayne I've watched a couple of your Youtube videos on the EZ30 engine and your radiator venting solution through the louvered floor. I know that solution can work very well for venting oil coolers up front, but wondered how it has worked on your water cooled subi conversion? Have you actually fired it up yet and driven it? I'm particularly interested in this also, as @Mayne mentioned he'd be running A/C in his car.. so I'd like to confirm that the condenser is placed vertically in front of the radiator, and the floor louvers are enough for whatever extra restriction that adds. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) ..I have a similar setup on my Subaru conversion and it works great. I have my louvers oriented differently, so it’s not quite the same but close. Ran the car the other day in a 100+ heat index outside temp and the fans only even come on if you stop in traffic for a bit. Once you start moving (even slowly) they fans would turn off. @East coaster just to confirm, you're running an H6 or 4 cylinder? Do you have A/C ? 2.5 NA 4 banger, no AC. |
