Hey Joe, you should listen to  some "Iron Maiden" while tending to that restoration

NOW THATS SOME DAMN GOOD ADVICE!

Not my style.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Personally, for the crap work that I'm doing today, tomorrow and the next, a little "# of the beast" sounds perfect!!!!

I love those guys, though! (Just for reference, it was 96 degrees, no shade and no breeze... I think I owe them at least a case of beer for that!) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer3.gif)

96 degrees?? Hell, we call that spring time here. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

You guys need a bigger covered patio for that project!

Liz, I have a box of parts coming to you. I'm a little slow sending it out. I went out to the old garage to get it so I could bring it to the UPS store. It had rained hard the night before. The rain ran in under the garage door and soaked the bottom of the box. I don't have another nice big box so I had to wait for the bottom to dry out. I'll send it this week. Rick,

Once the box gets 'soiled / wet' I would suggest that you
retape the affected areas over with good tape.
This will ensure the box stays intact.
I would hate to see your parts fallout of the box in transit.

Just a suggestion (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

Ya, I had planned on doing it. Just have to wait til it dries. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) I have blocked up on styrofoam laying over on the side so the bottom is exposed. Should be close to dry now. F#@'in rain! We had one nice day here since I've been home from the WCC! That was yesterday! rain again today!

After a week of work, we're down to a few remaining details.

The days of an upside-down 914 in my back yard are numbered. It should be at the sand blaster by the end of the week:

And after. They were a little rougher with it than I wanted (with the choice of media), but all will be fine. $400 and 24 hours. Hard to beat.
