Joe? Did you take your camera with you to Tuscon?

He's got the pics of the steering... and the drama that follows that!!!

No camera here.

The steering is not drama, just a welding opportunity. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

#2 is how I meant it. The wiring was pulled like tonsils and cut out like an appendix.

After a small snag on the steering and some minor finishing to accomplish on the wiring, we're basically on schedule.

Here's the current plan, after a few changes:

February:
Week 2:
Finish the wiring
Install rear brake lines
Clean Engine & Tranny
Install/plumb oil tank

Week 3:
Modify oil cooler
Engine painted and assembled
Steering (deferred from week 1)

Week 4:
Headlight/Turnsignal hardware cleaned & painted
Battery tray installed
Order thermostat
Get battery
Light, fog, hazard switches

March
Week 1:
Install engine/tranny
Install front sway bar
Install gas tank
Plumb fuel system
Fuel pump/filter

Week 2:
Install gauges
Install clutch, throttle & speedo cables
Tachometer
Pedal cluster

Week 3:
Shifting
Brake pads
Master cylinder
Finalize brake system

Week 4:
Bumpers, rocker panels, valences & top to paint
Install headers and muffler
Start the car!

April:
Trim Clips
Rollbar vinyl
Seats & Belts
Firewall HW for belts
Assemble doors
New door handles
Windshield trim
Order windshield & install (also install rear window)
Tail light assembly
Drain tray for header

May:
Rear struts & coilovers
Finalize seals
Window/targa trim
Carpet
Door panels
Inside sill trim
Window cranks
Speaker housings
rollbar interior trim

OK, so anyway... We've been having some stress... Nico, for those of you who have met him I do not have to explain, is a big individual. We are looking for racing seats that might fit his, ummm, largesse. It seems that we need something that will hold a frame with a 43 or 44 inch waist. Are there any suggestions? Does anyone have something that they would recommend?

My sweetheart just doesn't know his mass, and the impact that it can have on our build... as well as Joe and Lauren's couch!!!!!

f=ma, dood!!!
