I've been following your thread (Great car) and when you were getting the loom

ready you mentioned adding a few wires for your six. I am doing a ground up

resto right now on a 74 and I would like to add those wires to the loom now for

a future conversion. Could you let me know the guage, number of wires and

starting point and destination. Thanks.

There are really only two wires that need to be added. One for the oil PSI and one for the oil temp.

So I had to remove the alternator to fix a self-induced wiring problem.

Those of you who have done this on a six can understand what I went through today.

OK. Now I'm curious about the "NO Airlfow" through the cooler question.

I do agree most engines used for daily driving can get away with "radiating" heat with no airflow when a cooler is added to an engine with the stock engine cooler in place.
