We removed the plugs from the bottom of the front trunk to promote airflow from the air inlet in front of the windshield, across the cooler and out the bottom of the trunk.

The gas tank compartment will need to be sealed to make this happen, however, this is a stock 2.7. Very minimal airflow should do the job. The cooler is very large for a 2.7.

It's experimental. Think of it as a battery warmer.

Worst case: We'll add a fan to the cooler. It'll be fine.

Headers back from ceramic coating. They're on the car now. I'm sending the muffler to be coated too.

And the carpet set out of the box (for Eric).

I spent the day installing the exhaust, tuning the engine with the Crane optical trigger (points replacement) and installing the master cylinder.

Things are going well, but I'm still behind.

The Crane points replacement is exactly that? As i understand its like a 'pertronix' unit and not a seperate box like the XR700?
Is this the one that'll work with my permatune (or bosch CDI unit)

This is the first time I've used it, but I would think that it would trigger a Bosch CD box.

Looked back and tried to find it, but what was the need for the seat rail mod?

Thanks!

Only one style of GTS seat is a direct bolt-in.

That is already a sweet looking car.

I like the bikes in the living room in the carpet photo. Is the compact frame a Giant? Before getting married, my bikes had their own bedroom.

It's a Giant TCR w/Ultegra and the Cannondale is a CAAD4 w/full Campagnolo Record.

Here you go.

I'm proud of this one. Forget about the R1000, I just used the frame:
