Joe, You are truly a master at these cars. That thing is beautiful. I can hardly wait to see it all done and on the road.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif) |

So 225s are never going to fit on a stock-bodied 914? Not true. I love it! Thanks for mythbusting that one. Dang sweet. 225 what? 50x16? I know AAron could tell from the photo, but I need some help to know exactly what you've stuffed under there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Any lip-rolling or minor stretching? Nice work Joe. |

225/50-16s on 7x16 53et 986 wheels.
We trimmed the lips slightly during the body work phase, but it really wasn't necessary. We're running 944 21mm spacers all around. So 225s are never going to fit on a stock-bodied 914? Not true. And the last piece to make the car drive. It's the pulley bushing and nut which I found today locally.
We'll drive it tomorrow. Attached image(s) |

Great job Joe. Will we see this car at the WCC? Will you be there?
Cheers, Elliot PS I have the same bike rack in my garage. Actually two of them. I mounted them on casters so I can move them out of the way when I jack up the car. |

We'll be at the WCC. I'm going to have to pull the engine this weekend to fix some leaks and the car definitely won't be fully finished, but we'll be there.
