We used this silicone from a local aircraft manufacturer to make the engine bay seal.

It's doubled over and pinched in the channel:

It was a long day at Series9. After the reinstallation of the engine, we had a serious leak from one spot.

After the difficult decision to re-remove the engine, we found a cam gasket was pinched during the top end re-seal.

It's fixed now, but I performed two installations and one removal today, with some engine work in between.

No pictures, I was busy.

I don't know if I'd call an engine pull, chain housing open, remove the sprocket, fix the seal, retime the cam, reassemble and reinstall easy, but thanks.
