btw, every single PM has been replied and some cars were pretty close to what I'm looking for. A pity that some cars offered (by mainly "newbie") showed higher prices then advertised local (some I found back on craigslist and other sites) ...

I am still here and still looking (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

A few nice ones were offered, a lot of bad ones to...
For some cars I nearly took the plunge but backed out after PPI or a few things were just not my cup of tea...

Still I think this platform is the way to go as I got some great help fm some of you.

Another place to look is Bring A trailer bringatrailer.com the cars on there really get picked apart by the critics so, at least you have a better idea what youre bidding on. there have been some really great cars on there lately. I am still trying to decide what to do with mine.

I look for the worst ads, Porsche mis-spelled, no pics, hard to get a hold of seller, ect. Less or no competition from other buyers. Thats how you get the best deals.

It appears that the "ready to enjoy" 73/74 2.0L have surpassed the $20K mark. Though I'm sure that there are some out there.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) owned by a former seller that I would buy the car sight unseen. I’m surprised someone hasn’t jumped on it. It’s so much cheaper to buy an almost perfect car up front.

You might also want to look at this '73 2.0L....it's currently listed on EBay and Craigslist. I considered buying it 3 years ago from the previous owner when it was in Utah. It's a rare black on black 2.0L with matching numbers. the previous owner was a Porsche fanatic. Here are several photos that I had on file.....
