Love my 2.1! Should update to 2.3 but I figured people would see the point when they can’t catch me.

Are you running any engine size emblems in the near future. I need one for a "2.2" engine. Thanks.

Is it possible to be machined out of black plastic sheet? Like delrin? I see why not, let me see if I have any scrap pieces to practice on. Did you ever follow up on black plastic version for those of us wiith later model emblems? |

I'd say stick with the aluminum and just paint it satin black. I just painted mine today. You'd have to look pretty close to know it wasn't the stock badge...except mine says 3.3 on it. Will post pics after I hit it with one more coat and it dries.

Here it is. Top one is plastic, bottom is aluminum.
It's harder than it looks to get a good pic! Although the 3.3 looks larger it's in the same scale as the other badge. Just the angle of the photo I guess. These are very nice quality. I would pay 2X what Mike is charging. |

Thanks, Mike, for the 914-8 emblem.
It looked great in brushed aluminum and maybe even better after I had it chrome plated to match the letters on the engine lid and bumpers. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/farm2.staticflickr.com-20876-1539746833.1.jpg) Thanks also for you you do for us teeners! -Dick- |

Tony I didn't like the chamfers on your emblems so I am going to make another set this week. |

Curious how do you mount these? Are there tabs like stock or double sticky tape?
