Picked this up on Monday, 550 lbs and my back is still feeling it today.
Took 30 seconds to load it on the trailer with a fork lift and an hour by self using an engine hoist. Had to take the spindle off to repair some hoses and make room for the slings Neat little machine, cast iron frame with a 24,000 rpm water cooled spindle. Runs on LinuxCNC which is an open source software. Hope to be making chips this weekend. |

Sweet. Asian? Power feed? DRO? Chinese base machine with Taiwanese linear rails and ballscrews. Full CNC control so the computer will control the speeds and feds and has a DRO. My lathe is all manual with hand cranks and that has DRO. I'm looking forward to doing some 3D machining which this should be ideal at. |

I've never seen you post anything about your lathe but I figured you had one. This Old Tony has a good video about replacing the ball screws. Can't wait to see you turn out some things on the mill. We have a runner, test run of a 2.3 emblem. Due to work and crazy schedule won’t be able to make these until 4th of July weekend. @Eric_Shea @tygaboy |

Cool router table!
What kind of spindle is on that thing? Curious if it's one of those ~3 kW DC drive jobbers. |

Cool router table! What kind of spindle is on that thing? Curious if it's one of those ~3 kW DC drive jobbers. 2.2kW 3 phase AC spindle. Manual tool change, ER20 collets. I would love to upgrade it to automatic tool changer spindle but not sure if I'll go that route or not. |

Hi Mike, could I possibly order an emblem for my blue 914 build that's in the works. Would like it to read "914-4 VW (logo)-2.3S". Ok without VW logo if that's a stretch. Please advise on payment.
