Do you know how jealous I am? Tried so hard to get the sealer right, with Wurth discontinuing things right and left. Makes it look easy.

The suspense is killin' me. My Six has really undergone a major evolution in the last 6 months. I believe it is now one of the straightest, cleanest tubs around - and getting better every day. I can only imagine what it will look like once it has color on it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

What is the external finish I'm seeing in a lot of these pics? Is it primer and block sanded?

It's primer with a guide coat sprayed on.

Hi Kent,

Absolutely gorgeous car and work. I noticed there are no holes in the rear trunk for the early bolt on heat shield. Does this car have the later heat shield?

Hi Greg, this car has the bolt in heat shield but the rear trunk floor was replaced so I will be drilling the holes once I get the car back on the rotisserie. I have a patern I made from another car that will help me get the holes in the correct locations.

That may be the first and only time I have heard those words associated with my Six. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

Michael,
Not just your car. Kent hasn’t been able to mutter those words with the cars that preceded yours. We’ll see if he can repeat that statement when he tears into his own 6... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Dave-
Yeah, my car was marginally better, maybe, than Kent's when it arrived. Hope to see you this weekend. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
