Interesting. I wonder if someone just did some threading and tapping? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) those knobs were all stock slip fit with an Allen set screw. |

Stock shaft that has been threaded, and the knob threaded. Likely because the allen bolts stripped and fail to keep the knob secure.

I used to have one of those on a late 80s early 90s AX car build. Thought it was cool as it was a larger shift knob. Logo was neat too. Sorry not to know more.

Top one is an Ampco (sp?) aftermarket knob. Commonly available. Might even still be available...
