So I have a set of new Amber Hella Fog Light Lenses from the PO. They are TN 1-TN 2 and appear to be a different design than the European version.

I really like them and want to put them on my Resto project, but still want them to be correct for a US car. Were these optional, dealer installed or no such thing?

Do any originality gurus have info on these?

I do not believe they ever came on the U.S. cars as an option or factory installed. Our lights were always white. However, I do like the yellow and think they look cool.

To the best of my knowledge they were used in France and Japan. May have been used in Sweden too.

My car came to me with yellow fogs, I replaced with white. figured they were changed by a prior owner. I can look around and see if I still have them if anyone is interested.

My car also came with front bumper-mounted headlight washers, another item I thought was added by a prior owner. I also have euro lenses and a few other lighting oddities. Hmmmm...

Yep, they do look cool. I have them in stock too and the seals for them.
Just noticed I didn't have them listed but do the 911 ones twice... doooh !

I'll get posted up and the link shortly

Mark,

Yours look like the Euro version as the vertical lines that run through the glass are top to bottom. If you look at the photo of my set the lines are closer together and run down about 2/3 of the way before starting again at an off set.

Interestingly enough, they are still in the original box post marked from Germany.

And to complete the European look you can put these on your H4.

Only the french cars had the yellow foglights. The rest of Europe had standard whites as far as I know. Italy had clear front turn signals.

Have the clear and amber if you want them. Mine come with a new seal and a lens protector (as they get blasted that close to the ground)

I will most likely go for the clear and sell my ambers. Also need a set of aluminum window guides that hold the fuzzy. I will get with Scott later in the week on this. Still have to go through the order you guys shipped last week.
