Nice and clean Michael. It really restores a classy, period look to the car. I like the way you took your time to come up with a workable solution. USB port is a nice touch.

Looks really great! Your upholstery guy did it right. Glad you could use the ventilation controls you got from me. Cheers!

Well I can offer my assistance if it drives?
Come visit me. Perhaps we can figure out a solution.
It may require going back to a stock dash & relocating your gauges.
Fortunately Ive got all this stuff in spades

I'm late to this thread party, but had to say that was a fun day. Dan brought that awesome six. There was a little mishap but it was dizzy out 180 degrees. No big for the knowledge that was there. A good day.

Looks great, it's always fun seeing 914 haps in the Seattle area.

If you're ever in the Greenwood area with your 914 swing by. I work at Matt's Greenwood Autocare on 79th and Greenwood. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

He wound up fashioning one from the best parts of yours and mine. They're just ornamental at the moment because the fan motor doesn't turn, and also there's no source of heat. I don't reckon either of those situations will change for a year or so.

I like what he did with the trunk. Previously I was just putting my stuff on top of the front oil cooler housing.

Lots of room, but let's pray I never need a spare tire!

AAA and a phone is typically better than an old spare anyway...or get some 914wold contacts nearby to help you out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

There is a provision for a spare tire in the rear trunk. Stock size should fit under the targa top. I've got a newer 911 donut which fits with plenty of room.

Good point, when moving my car from temp storage when building my garage I had my full size in from and space saver in the back location with the top off and stowed in the back. I’m guessing this provision was for rally cars? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
