My internet has been down and this is the first time I have been able to see the board. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to ^Easton's^ family. Now he is in a better place atleast. I am so sad about your loss.

If anybody is available in North Washington State, or in nearby Canada... it would be nice to have the club represented if you have some free time.

Details:

Memorial Service Of Easton Heinrich Peters.

It will be held at Central Heights Church

I have not replied to this thread because I don't know how to... There are no words that can express the deep sadness I felt when I saw ^Easton^'s picture on the home page and when I read thru pages of people offering their condolences. It isn't fair that Steve and Sher were given such a little treasure only to have him taken away so soon. The passing of any loved one is so hard to accept, but when it happens to someone so young and innocent, it's heart wrenching. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. While I sat speechless infront of my computer, my boyfriend said "He has touched so many lives. He has brought so many people together." Easton is not suffering anymore. I can only imagine he's in a better place. Happy, healthy, and surrounded by puppies & kittens. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif)

We will never forget you, ^Easton^.

Hmmmm,

It breaks my heart to see young people going way before their time.

^Easton^ is in Go(o)d hands now.

Love and peace.

Okay, I 'cheated' the system to get on this BBS. I don't own a 914.
I googled for Easton Peters. This forum is the first one in the list.

I am Steve Peters' uncle, live in Toronto, and have to wonder how Steve and Sherida are doing after this tragedy in their lives.

I see they have a pile of support through you guys. What a great bunch!

A big wave to Steve, Sherida and Greg. God has you in His hands and heart.
And even though the pain of loss is excruciating (I can't imagine it), Easton IS now beholding the face of his Creator.

Okay, the forum boss can boot me now. I only drive a Passat 1.9 TDI that runs on used veggie oil.

think nothing of it.

NOWHERE in the terms of use does it say anything about OWNING a 914, so you're cool. it *helps* if you like them, even a little (although if that were a hard and fast requirements, even some of the regulars would have to recuse themselves after a particularly frustrating experience...).

and if it were required that you actually own a RUNNING 914, i figure there'd be but a handful of participants.

you're welcome to hang around as long as you like, leave at any time, or drift in and out as you see fit. like family.

I am very sorry for your loss.

How trivial are our day-to-day problems compared to the things that bring true sorrow to those around us.

Hey guys, first off thanks for your support it has been completely overwelming, when Karl phoned me with the amounts you guys have raised in honour of ^Easton^ and our family I was speecheless..... Easton has been such a treasure to our family and pictures of his smile and expresions bring tears to Sher and my Face as we pic out pictures for the service. Sher probably sorted though a thousand pics of the boys....
I am going to help out with the final construction of his Casket, today with the help of two great carpenters we are friends with.... The suport from the comunity has been outstanding as well. Not a day goes by without someone showing up on our door step with multiply vases of flowers and hot food for supper, the local comunity paper did a front page article for both Mission and Abbotsford.
However the loss of my little man has become more and more real every day. I delivered some of his medical supplies to a family that needed them, and in the closet was a big dump truck and trailer for him for his first sandbox expierence, unopened....Sher and I both cried, surounded by a room full of memories.....
We are trying to fill the days with things to do, so we don't have to think, but there are quiet times in the day that are completely overwhelming......Markus has helped to fill our minds as he is a busy little boy, that is loving being the new center of attention......
Steve

Steve....there isn't a day that goes by that most of us don't think of you.

Words are pretty much useless in a situation like this, so it's tough for a lot of us to express how we feel.

You are in our hearts, and our prayers...
