in the front valance there is an elongated hole or 2, what fixes here?

The screws to attach the valence to the front of the car.

i have a le air dam copy from 914 rubber. does it attach to these same holes?

Yes.
I just took a fiberglass LE air dam copy off my six and replaced it with a stock valence. They attach the same. And the screws come from inside the trunk.

Nope. But there are clip nuts on each of the valance holes.
