Battery acid spills have damaged so many 914s over the years; overcharging, overfilling, rained upon, the acid washes right down the frame and lingers in the longitudinal inner fender well cavity. (no I will NOT call it the "hellhole"!
Thankfully this one is simple, part of the outer firewall, part of the longitundial, a piece of the rear floor pan, and then just add the floor pan triangle. With a good welder, and all of the readily available repair panels, the repair is relatively easy |
