Hi Everyone,

I am looking for the radio that goes in the 914. I have a 1972 late 1.7. I think I have found the right stereo. Are these Blaupunkts any thing that you all would have for sale? Or do I need to look on ebay, etc?

Thanks as always for the help,

Ross

There are always several listed for sale on both the pelican forums and on the “early 911s” board. Sometimes on here.

Expect to pay $350.00 or so for a nice Blaupunkt.

There are some VW Sapphire radios out there also. Don't forget Becker were options. The tricky part is finding one that works with ALL the mounting hardware.

Here is a good example of a plug and play Becker Europa II Stereo over on Pelican 911Attached Image

Euro versions are always listed.
Finding a US version is difficult. Stereo is even more difficult.

Yes $350 for a nice working Blaupunkt Frankfurt stereo, then add the correct installation bits for another $250.
