How about selecting a specific day, and everyone meets with their local group on that day for individual and group photos with their car. The local group can plan their local meet to be whatever they want - drive/show/parts swap/BBQ etc - its all good.

All photos are collected/posted on this site as our collective tribute.

9/14/2019 is a Saturday....we could have this all done this year.
9/14/2020 is a Monday...not so convenient

Think of the SWAG possibilities! Tribute T-shirts, 2020 calendars, hood badges...license plate frames...

That works good if there are actually more that 3 914's in your state. If I am going to drive 180 miles for a photo I am going to keep right on going to where the action is. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/assimilate.gif)

Born and raised in Kansas and my best friend lives about 10 miles from that pic. I know the area well. The lack of twisties would be the least of your problems. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Im in California, so I am always up for doing something like this here.

However, Colorado is a little more towards the middle with plenty of twisties.

Why wait until 2020. Our event is this September honoring the 50 year anniversary of the VW/Porsche 914.

We could hold it in Red Lodge, shut down the Beartooth highway for hillclimbs. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
