This is a blast from the past, looks like Ron Mistak is selling his highly modified 914.

Crazy back then, and still crazy now:

I agree....it's a joke to call that a 914 any more.
Was fast from what I remember.

If I had the money..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif)

Notice it's a driving girl? It would be a race car for Betty, not me. I would be the crew chief (and the whole pit crew), team manager, chief cook and bottle washer. I think she would tear up PCA club racing with a car like that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif)

Wow. A car you always oogled from a distance and now for sale. Talk about fleeting up from my current vintage ride! Man you would be the man showing up at any track for any event in this ride

Hmmmm..... funds available - Check. Balls available?.....Hmmmm

I remember when Ron initially built the car, and it’s still an icon. Like the Garretson auto-x car and VonK Turbo monster, there are certain 914s that will always stick in my mind.

Super cool evolution from way down the slippery slope... watch the video... especially the brake fluid level on track... stark reminder tho keep the reservoir topped up before a track session!
