You going both days, or just one? I'm contemplating whether to go or not. I'll be in Ventura that weekend anyway, but doesn't look like Jeff and Aaaaron are willing to drive 1.5hrs for the autofest. they seem to think it's a dud for how far they have to drive. Brad, Jeff NEVER likes to drive. He's got a new bike, but he doesn't want to ride up to Ventura either. I guess no one likes the 405. Can't blame 'em.

Scott,
Brian's parents live in Newbury park. It's just a short distance to Ventura. I just wasn't sure I wanted to go or not. Depends on how many people I know show up. It'd be cool to see the SoCal gang (Mikey, Malmzx, Chris, Sammy, etc..)

Plus if Brad's there, I know there'll be an EZ-up and comfy chairs for me to relax.

Does that mean no chairs for me to relax in? What if I donned a wevo shirt and tried to sell for them? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I will bring chairs.. I'm sure Tracy and Hayden wont have a problem with you "hanging out".

Although they may not let me "work" the booth...LOL

I'll bring the EZup also.

Hi,
Everyone should go to this thing. I have been to the last two and it is very much worthwhile. Lotsa cars, many vendors and seminars. A huge outdoor swapmeet and also an indoor swapmeet. Parts, books, tool kits, trophies, manuals, all kindsa krap!
You can even take the train if you want. Amtrak station walking distance. My 914 should be back on the road by then and may actually try and drive it that far.
Cheers, Elliot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Can you guys tell me about the Dunkel Bros events?
What's the scoop with those?
I know them as machinery movers (I've used 'em several times over the years).
And I know they are motorcycle collectors, but I had no idea they are into 914s as well.

He is a 356 guy... and sold the business last year. You wont see another Dunkel event as far as I know. I attended 3 years in a row... great time and sold a ton of stuff.

I'll definitely be at the GAF, just need to nail down the schedule. I -may- need to go to my boy's soccer game around noon on Saturday, but missing that isn't -totally- out of the question yet. Depends on how Chris' event shakes out.

Not going to vend this year, it fills the pockets with green stuff but it isn't as much fun. I bet Jenny could double the WEVO sales by hanging out in their booth......... Bet Brad never got somebody to walk into a booth before they knew what product he was selling...........

(Jeff's not here, right? I don't want to get hurt...) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ninja.gif)

I don't think Jeff's been wielding his bat recently. He doesn't follow ANY 914 related sites/lists/BBS's.

I wore a Renegade Hybrids shirt 2 years ago at GAF, not sure how much business it drummed up though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

The Cap'n & I, with our respective better halves will be there trying to get rid of the huge pile of parts we've collected over the years. Anybody need anything? I also am selling off the wide flared 72 roller I just stripped. This would be a good one for an 8 project. Stop by & say hi. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wavey.gif)

I'll be driving up my silver beast Sunday morning for the swap meet.
Who's going from O.C.?
Otherwise I would love to meet everyone in Agoura.
I'm not familiar with the hotels in Ventura.
