This is why someday when I buy my next 914 I will look for a member here who is deciding to sale his prized possession . I don't believe the fine people on this site would rip off another 914 world member .

But shit can happen. Here's an example of what not doing due diligence can result in. Even when BOTH parties used what they believed were "top line" businesses a war ensued. You HAVE to check YOURSELF! You cannot rely on others... A simple "run the seat forward and check for rust" before purchase would have stopped this dumpster fire... http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=368857 http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...369454&st=0 Rufus has edited a bunch of stuff. The first post of the sale add used to be a descending price page he was updating every hour or so. MountainRoads will NEVER sell a car again without going through a broker. 3+ years of nothing then that... Educate yourself on what to look for, it's not all that hard. A post asking "What should I look for when I look at a 914 for purchase" will get many replies. Mostly regarding rust... |

Felt bad for Mountain roads it wasn't his fault but what a disaster ,Rufus was so much drama . I use the phrase now " I don't want to be a Rufus" . I was asked what does that mean and I said it's a long story . |
