Looking forward to familiar faces and meeting some new 914 buddies at this year's meet at Mosport. We have over 75 cars registered, including seven 914s, a 935 Kremer, and a few vintage Porsches, like a '63 356 and a '68 912.

Our own David Billo is sure to capture some great pics and we look forward to what he shares!

If you were unable to come this year plan now to attend next year when we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the LE cars with the biggest showing of LE cars ever in Canada.

More to come on that.

Jeff you talked me into going in 2018. You said anyone with a LE on the East coast should be there sssoooo I went. Great time met some life long friends. Heading up again this year.

Hey Jeff, great find! I don't know how I missed your post. I've never seen this collection of photos before. There is a video of the event with good footage of the 914 parade that I will repost.

Hey everyone, it would be great if all of our UCR PCA SIG 914 members and friends would join us in an our Whatsapp SIG 914 forums. We can't possibly duplicate all the content here.

Below is a screenshot from today. We are so pleased to welcome John Lorefice and his son Damien.

I believe that Jeff Bowlsby notes that John is one of, if not the only original LE owners that still has his precious Can Am Bumblebee. Son Damien is now the proud caretaker.

If you're an LE owner, you have to join us at Mosport for the 50th anniversary of the Can Am cars. Respected member from PA Tony Alber will be there with LE number one, and John and Damien will return their car to Mosport after 50 years. Yes it's true, when John bought his LE brand new, he was invited with other 914 owners to rip up the track at Mosport. A great story we will let John tell. So cool that history will repeat itself after 50 years.

Hey Jeff, I could easily be wrong but I believe these are pictures from the 1973 Can Am. George Follmer was a dnf in a 917/10. There was a similar Porsche 914 drivers parade at the 1973 Canadian Grand Prix, the same race that featured the very first use of safety car (pace car) in F1, a 914 driven by the late Eppie Wietzes. Check out the video here. The 914 parade begins at the 6:34 mark.

Search "UCR" and select the "Family Day" event for the free parade laps.
Free for all PCA members.
