And then the left. I trimmed off the excess (first rough cut) after this photo.

Test fit of the roof. The right side looks pretty good.

I figured the roof needs hardware to fit correctly, starting with the front latches.

It latches on pretty easily, snug in front but with a bit of vertical freeplay in the rear. Of course, I have not yet mounted the rear weather-strip.

Rear alignment needs work. The right side edge sits just inboard of the targa hoop corner.

Just to get depressed, I rolled up the left window to see how bad things look. Ugh again. Did I mention that I don't like weatherstrips and seals?

A little diversion: checking the fit of the targa top in the trunk.

And then checking the clearance of my new EFI stuff under the forward edge of the top. Looks OK (and room for a cover over the EFI).

Back to working on rubber piece alignment. I pulled off the front seals and worked on fitting the A-pillar trim.

And I got the rubber seal remounted a bit higher.

Then I remembered something (duh). When I mounted the side seal trim strips, I forgot to put butyl tape between the trim and the top. So I got out my roll of 1/2 x 1/8 butyl tape.

Trim mounted with butyl. And then I went through the fun of installing the side seals (again).
