(IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) Here is a replacement for one of the 5 major OE nylon bushings that are critical to smooth shifting in your 914.
Specifically for the 901 Side-shift transmission
This is a kit including a self lubricating bronze bushing, spring washer & snap ring.
It replaces the OE castellated nylon bushing that the shift rod slides through.
It has the added benefit of correcting for a worn or ovaled opening in the console
Available HERE on 914werke.com

A quick question: How many are needed for full replacement? Five suggested in the post, with two at the shifter (see photo), or are there different ones fordifferent places? Thanks!

For a stock car, only one.
The set up pictured above is a non stock Kit that happens to utilize a pair of the Bushings.
The 5 bushes referenced are the: Firewall bushing, coupler bushings (2), Console bushing (which this replaces ) & the cup bushing
