Does anyone make D-jet wiring harnesses?

I am also wondering if my ECU is giving me problems. I just can't develop any power above about 3,500 rpm under load (such as going up a hill).

I have replaced the throttle body (which improving things for a day), rebuilt the MPS (minor improvement). Valves checked, points and timing checked. Fuel filter replaced. Fuel pressure checked. Throttle body rechecked and readjusted. The engine is a 1911 in a 1971 1.7l and ran fine after the rebuilt (had to be careful not to overrev it in the break in period). Now I can't get it to go above 4,000 rpm underload.

It seems like the last 2 suspects would be the wiring harness and ECU. Does anyone have a working ECU that I could "borrow" to see if my ECU is bad. Or does someone have a tester that could be rented to test the unit.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Have you inspected your harness for any damage? Checked your grounds on the engine case? Checked to make sure all connections are still fully seated?

I'd check the dizzy for sticking advance weights and timing.

Make sure your injectors are firing on all 4 cylinders too. The points in the base of the distributor. Pull plug wires one at a time while running and make sure you notice a difference on each hole when no spark is provided.

Jeff Bowlsby and Mikey914 both make harnesses.

You said you checked the fuel PSI, what kind of pressures were you getting.

Has the fuel tank ever been cleaned or the original? The reason is my friend's car had same thing and the filter screen at the bottom of the tank was clogged from rust and sediments.

are you sure that the car is running on all four, the dwell and timing is correct, and the compression is good and the valves are in adjustment? That is where you should start
