I stumbled across this on the PCA Website:

I showed it to Betty. She commented that her car would be working on badge #7, and that she would make the engine overheat by blocking the engine grill with badges. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

I am going to send a query to PCA national about it. Maybe they offer a 100,00 mile badge.

I prefer the 100 year badge.

Hmmm, my 914 would qualify for 7 of these by now, and is steadily chuggin' away towards #8. I will need to have the tranny rebuilt before we get to #8, though. It has started to growl and whine a bit. A taller 5th gear would be nice too, while the tranny is apart.

Al Garcia, RIP, told me he had over 500,000 miles on his 914 as it was his DD for many years on his commute to LA from Hemet.
