Celius? well i know here its 90 yet too , no snow here lol, but in NC its low 50's at night and low 70's already.
actually i plan onusing this for mounting some type of roof , since you really cant use the targa top, but there are a couple vintage VW ones that would work or the Carbone Livery 911 one may work, the mount brackets can be turned and used front and back instead of side to side, will see how it all works out but i think its doable. --- probably will not ski , but may mount some vintage skis to it , or surf board !!!! that would be appropriate in our neck of the woods, or shall i say beach

102 is starting to feel down right chilly, I think we have had 36 days of over 110 so far. This summer has just been brutal starting the first week of May hitting 105. Usually the heat hitting hard in early May gives us a mild summer, not this year.

We started with the flanges. My buddy that had a tube polisher no longer has it so I was looking for one to do in house.
The bending and welding will just take a little bit.
As soon as I have the pattern and sample I'll post up the GB.

ah, hello, ... you chose to live in a desert (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) deserts are.... well, HOT!
that would be like me complaining of our 98degrees and 90%humidity in August in coastal South Carolina or Florida , btw i’ve been out there many times and i would take 110 and 20% humidity over 98 and 90% humidity, but i can complain too much it it what it is, and it is what i knew it was when we moved here..... beats Minnesota winters!

We solved the high temperatures by a 40 minute drive over the hill to the coast for some Pleasant 70 to 75° weather as we camp at the beach. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

nice!! i can get that 70’degree weather as well but it’s a 4-5 hour drive to the mountains of western NC! actually looking at a summer cabin in Banner Elk NC for that reason, for retirement (summer anyway) their current temp now is 74 and was 56 this morning! ours not too bad, 78 this morning 89 now. lots of rain recently so that has kept to manageable, but my next project is AC in the garage and Spray foam on roof of garage, just too humid to work much on the car in summer it’s instant sweat, even at night!

Is it still possible to get on this?
Do you have any ideas on how bikes would get mounted?
