Here’s the last update for this trip. For those meeting at Route one. 1215 Magnolia Ave. Corona please park in the large parking lot in the middle of the shopping/business park. Do not park in the McDonalds parking area. We don’t want to obstruct there customers. Be there by 7:30 am leave no later then 8am The Drive to the Route two meet up spot is approx 39 miles. For those coming from San Diego see Eric’s post on your meet up spot. Randy will be bringing the Palm Spring crowd over the mountain and meet us at the Cahuilla casino. Meet up spot two is the In out Burger parking lot. 30697 Temecula pkwy. The cross street is a dead end so there is lots of parking. Can the first arriving Teeners please direct us to areas to park so we don’t inconvenience the public. Meet 8:30am leave by 9am The drive to Cahuilla Casino 52702 Ca Hwy 371 is approx 28 miles. We will stop here for pictures and social gathering. Randy can you please pick a good spot for us to park for a meet and greet. The drive to the mountain center cafe 29470 Ca Hwy 243 is approx 23 miles. There is parking behind the cafe and a dirt parking area....not my first choice. After lunch the drive to our ending location Starbucks 41195 Winchester rd is approx 42 miles. If there are any other must see stops let’s work that out at the Casino stop and not on this thread. You may want to bring a folding chair especially for a place to sit while eating lunch. Also consider packing a lunch. The MC Cafe can only seat 20 people outside due to CV restrictions. Take out food is not a problem but if your number 45 in a line of 60 people you probably won’t see your food tell 2pm......just saynnnnn Make sure you have a full gas tank, bring lots of water, sunscreen ect. ect. ect. Please be respectful to those of us who wear mask and elect to participate in social distancing. Elbow handshakes For those driving other then 914s please park away from us at the casino. This is for Photo and video purposes only. If someone wants to print out a route map to hand out then please go for it. Hwy 79 to Hwy 371 to Hwy 74 to Hwy 243 to Hwy 74 See everyone there, this will be a cool event. Greg AKA Coondog * |

Looks like the weather is going to be perfect, it's been a bit hot lately but its coming down to ~70 in most of the area and only mid 80's in the deserts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
@ValcoOscar I hope both of our cars behave!! But if not, and I can make it home, I can come back with a sweet trailer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) |

Made it down. Picked up a loaner. Not quite a 914 but it has AC for Shannon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) Sounds like we may have some other friends join in too.
