I think it would be useful to have various sound clips of engines running and have some with various conditions....like:
Rod Knock Clack Clack goes the valves Low Oil Pressure Backfiring Missing and some with the good stuff like A good running 1.7,1.8 and 2.0 engine |

I haven't accumulated too many "distinctive" T-IV sounds that I would use for troubleshooting engine problems, other than this one:
914 2.0L, with a Stinger exhaust, running a little rich. Hope this helps. |

that motor was a bone stock 1.7 except for headers and muffler. It sounded terrible at idle but great up at speed. |
