Did you replace the longs (or is that added steel over them) along with the floor pan? Also curious as to what size motor is going back in?

Did you replace the longs (or is that added steel over them) along with the floor pan? Also curious as to what size motor is going back in? This was a east coast car. If a four cylinder it was not worth saving. Your seeing clamshells + replacement inner long + mad dog +floor pans + front pan + steering area+ rear short pan+ sails+ door jamb+ door sills + doors+ front fender rear +++ I have known this car |

Great Progress (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) a Six doesn't require this plate....while yore still painting.. My Six has this plate but it has been repaired in the hell hole. Did Karmann omit this bracket for the Six's. I have tried looking for this before my every engine bay photo I have found it is never in view. |

I just did knot know. It was new parts. I noticed it when I was changing the parts out, I just thought maybe the other one had rusted off. This will be fixed.

Wow ! your car has covered the color spectrum.
Irish green, Canary yellow...now Blutorange. All good colors....... but I'd go with the orange too. What is the code on the tag ? Great job, man you've accomplished a lot ! |

Great job, man you've accomplished a lot ! Factory Yellow. My Father who owns this and is footing the bill did not want yellow. So we kept it a factory color. We also have 64 356 that is was and will return to dark green plus my 914 is green then his other 914 is orange and my sister and bother in law have white one and yellow one. So Tangerine it is... |
