It's alive. Still needs timing and the carbs adjusted but runs great!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Nicely done!

I notice you have hose on the carb vacuum ports. Are you running that system, or are they for display only?

Just capped them off for now to run the engine. Wanted to make sure everything was ok before going to much further.

Congrats, the /6 conversion I have been working on for a couple years just recently had the first ride. It's a great accomplishment for sure. Mine is a twin to this one, first ride, no headlights and no taillights.

Sounds great

I missed the sound of these engines.

We plan to use some 15x6 Fuch's on it. Bought a set for it over 20 years ago. We also have a set of 14" Fuch's but they need to be redone. It came with the steel wheels but the chrome has come off in places and there is rust on them.

Time to move on to the interior and door glass.

Well I got the 914/6 done enough to bring it to Okteenerfest. Still have a few things to finish on it. But it was there.

We were twins on 9 14 2024 a few states apart.
My inagural drive in this partial car was in 1987
Congratulations on a great job well done.

Thanks for bringing the -6 to Okteenerfest, Blake. Great job restoring it.
I remember seeing the shell in your dad's garage many years ago.
