So great and duplicate the others comments and kudos. Met several “ screen names” to which I can now relate real names. Thanks also for all who shared their knowledge and stories. Got in a heavy downpour about a third the way home but after the deluge leaving Woodstock I knew it’d be ok (though at that moment I recalled that I didn’t have spare wipers. Out, drive and back in just a little over half a tank! Now, to adjust that low idle issue. Onward! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

One more thanks due - to all those who helped make Debbie welcome and comfortable. She was uncertain about meeting and mingling (and certainly understanding our gibberish) but everyone was warm and friendly. Special shout-outs to Linda, Vanessa, Christina and Ellen.

What a great weekend! We got home just after noon with no issues and such a nice cool day for the drive home. Saturday's drive and 200+ miles home today on one tank and I still have a 1/4 tank left.

Thanks to Len and everyone for the organization of this event it ran perfectly. And thanks to everyone for making Christine and I feel so welcomed to the group. We had a great time and can't wait until next year!

I'll post our pictures later.

Thanks Again,
Mike and Christine

I'm in front leading the first leg of the route just in front of the 911 and entering a favorite section, a God damn school bus is on a sightseeing trip. If the bus driver only heard what I was calling him..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Car is tucked away made it home with out any issues, (other than a slight navigation error... it’s all good Rob) the car liked the cooler temps. I avoided 95 and racked up 1075 miles round trip. Straight to the pool when I got home. (It’s open if your ever get this far south Lenny). It was awesome to see everyone and meet some new friends. Can’t wait until next year. The Northern guys need to make the drive to Okteenerfest!! Yes that’s a challenge.

Fay and I really had a great time this weekend. It was so much fun seeing the people we met last year again and meeting new people too. I drive my car thousands of miles a year and the best miles are definitely the miles that are shared with other 914 enthusiasts and my wife. A BIG thank you to Lenny, Linda, Bob, Vanessa, and Dave for all the work they put in to make this event run smoothly. I agree with Jon that more of you should make the trek to Okteenerfest. The roads are incredible in that part of the country and you’ll meet some cool new people too. We made it home safely taking the scenic route through Gettysburg and Leesburg.

Made it back, not afraid of rain anymore! Thanks to everyone #2 NE Gathering in the books. Don’t know how you can top it. I am thinking about going to Teener fest but I like to drive my 914 but 10 hours, I don’t know. Maybe I’ll trailer. Thanks again.

I was a little hesitant to attend since I did not have my car, but I am so glad I did. I had a lot of fun and was overwhelmed by how friendly everyone is. It was great to finally put a face to the names from "The world".

A big thank you to Len and everyone who assisted him with the planning for the event. Thank you to all the cooks for the amazing food on Saturday!

A big thank you to the following (please forgive me if I forget your names)

- Matt "my car is dark green, not black" and your mother and father
- Rob "I never win anything now I'm winning everything"
- Joe "I swear it's tequila" (it tasted nothing like tequila)
- Jon "Big Sexy" "you paid how much for this car??"
- "Turbo" Tom (thank you for the ride. Your car is FAST!)
- Mike "I'm sorry I killed your car" and your wife
- Bob "please drive my car" (I'm sorry I never go the opportunity)
- "Shag" (Is that bratwurst??)

Thank you to everyone else who I did not get a chance to speak with. I am glad I participated and will definitely attend next year! (hopefully with my car!)
