Does the reflector pop out? I need to inspect the wiring. It looks like the terminals might be on a separate piece of plastic that slides off?

Dremel makes some tiny wire brushes that work great to clean up all the contacts. Just be sure to wear glasses and mask, it is surprising how much dirt and corrosion it throws up in the air.
