It was a fun build to watch and a great out come. I love the racks, they'd still look good if the car was slammed to the ground.

No real off-road plans. That said, it is pretty fun to play on some of the gravel roads in my area.

I gave my teener a good inspection today. I’ve put almost 2K miles on it since I finished the build and really haven’t done much to it. I decided to give it a good look and check my CV bolt torque while I had it on the lift. Amazingly, I can find no leaks, nothing rubbing something it shouldn’t, nothing loose or needing tightening, and CV bolt torque was still spot on…..yay! So I gave it a good cleaning and hope for many more trouble free miles!

So not directly related to my build, but I’m getting ready for my next project and needed a clean space to keep the Safari. My shop is 30’x50’ and had a full length lean-to one one side. I decided to enclose a portion (12x40) of the lean-to to create a paint booth at the rear and clean parking in the front. I purchased the same materials the shop was built from so it looks less like an afterthought.

I moved two existing windows to the new outside wall and replaced them with doors from the existing shop into the new area.
