Got the electrical work completed and added my paint booth lighting. It’s a 8’x16’ led array and it does quite a job lighting the area! I’m calling the project done, although there’s a few minor things left to wrap up.

Finally got around to something I should’ve done from the get go. I used the entire Subaru wiring harness in my project and in the stock Subaru there’s an accessory fuse panel under the hood that feeds directly from the battery (which is also under hood). In the stock Suby this is a short lead and not subject to much risk of shorting. In the 914 with the battery in the engine compartment and this fuse panel in the frunk it does pose a risk. I initially had this attached directly to the battery post and I’ve now installed a fused connection at the battery……I’ll sleep better now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
