Are we doing the annual Yardley Park & Ride meet up this year? I enjoy the teener convoy up the river valley.

Weather is looking better! So far, mid 80s and partially cloudy. But then, that’s 7 days away.
Putting in new front wheel bearings on Monday. Originals still in there. Otherwise, gas fill up and ready to go! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Mate914 and I will most likely be there. I may need to ride with someone I don't think my car will be finished.

You can ride with me ( on Saturday). Debbie’s not staying over.

@TomE
Still have that open seat this weekend. Still need that ride for the tour?

High on the degree of difficulty list in a 6
Could get tight. Hope to get alternator by Tues.
One way or the other I'll be there.

Are you dropping the engine or removing fan shroud or a little of both?

I hope goes well....

All from the top.
The only part that's really difficult is the air ducts over the chain housings. And lifting both carbs at once. And lifting the fiberglass with the fan housing and alternator as a unit. With the harness hanging off eveyrwhere. And dropping it back in. And all
those fasteners. And some terrible blind reassembly.
I just did an oil change...can't waste that right ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Still no alternator.
And no ETA from supplier.
I'll go to Connecticut to get it when they give me the word.
Maybe buy a extra battery or two and wing it.
Ralph I appreciate the offer.
Maybe I bring the alt. with me, I'll drink the beer and hand you the tools ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What kind of issues? Lots of help right here. Not so much me, but the gurus do.
I have a few used clutch parts for 4 cylinders. Change that in the parking lot also.
Many years ago Rennlist had a group and a Canadian changed a tranny CV seal in the parking lot.

I made some progress at lunch today, and talked with the tuner this evening. He is fairly certain he knows what the base issue was and how to get my laptop talking with the ECU again. So, for now, chances are decent that we are there. But there is a small chance we have to drop the engine to make a fix to the tooth wheel on the crank, and that will keep the car home this weekend.

I'm optimistic.

Are GMRS radios being used this weekend? If so, is it the Midland or Baofeng brand?

GMRS is GMRS. Either brand should work fine.

I prefer Midland if you are buying something.
