I counted 27 914s in our crappy corral today. In the past we had the best corral of all at turn 3. But this year they put us in the weeds.

My car got wet at Rennsport. Are they waterproof?
It did take some of the dirt off of it from the crappy dirt coral parking.

My brother and I went to Rennsport yesterday, Friday. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold- just right! It was crowded, but manageable. The vendors were out in full force.

We got easy parking (took the truck) and were only 1/4 mile, if that, from the entrance. So many beautiful cars. I really struggle to take pictures when there are so many nice cars as I am just looking at them.

My only criticism was the announcers seemingly never stopped talking over the event-wide sound system. Even during racing they were lacking non-stop - I just wanted to enjoy the engine sounds as the cars raced. I guess that is just an old-age thing on my part.
