Posting for a friend who recently bought a '71 and wants to remove the passenger seat to change the seat belts. I have only had or worked on later cars. Where and how is the seat attached. I've search the forums and cannot find this info anywhere. I am 1 1/2 hours away from him so I can't help without seeing the car. Thanks all.

Remove the seat cushion. Unscrew 4 nuts. Done.

The Pumpkin is a 70. Passenger seat does not move. I pulled the cushion out and then you can take base out 4 screws. Then change belts. One of the easier jobs to do.
