Did you mean Plainfield, Illinois or Plainfield, Indiana (thread mentions both).

Illinois location less than an hour from me. Same windshield for all years, including a -6?
What's the trick for removing/installing the rear view mirror?

Plainfield IL.
Same for all. Originally there was both clear & Tint, but only Tint is offered here.
To remove the mirror heat should work, heatgun from the outside directly on the pad.

Looks like I am ready to buy a windshield. Even hell hole on both sides cars can be brought back to life. Well, how do I work this? This is my beautiful car, that needs new glass.
