has it been leak tested?
I would love to have AC in my car here in SC but i would need to figure out a way to do it with an electric compressor, and somehow not cut a hole in the perfectly good trunk floor.
and been thinking about this for a long time, how to maybe use the factory blower location to put that evaporator part with the blower. the coil part i wish was smaller, this oem is pretty large. I dont think you are too far off in price, i dont want to comment and detract from your sale. Seems like its all in really good condition, good luck with the sale.

Thank Phil for the Bump.

I don't have any working history on this 914 AC system.
I purchased about (20) years ago from an excellent 914 that was being parted out.
Everything is clean with almost every part for a complete AC system, including another spare set of (4) vent pieces someone might need?
I am open to OBO since 914 AC parts are getting hard to source & I don't need AC.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_bump.gif) you are welcome and thanks for the reply, i'm interested, but bad timing right now, would probably drive my 914 all summer if i had AC its just too hot in jul-september in SC. I am thinking somehow this could be used with a electric compressor, and that could go in front trunk with the condenser coils etc and save on any cutting of the chassis for lines to and from a rear mounted compressor. i'll check back in a month. hope i have some other bills paid and sorted by then and maybe sell a set of wheels to fund.
