Overkill on the mounts. Take at least one off if you are trying to save weight.

Careful bracing exhaust to chassis. Unless you have solid engine/tranny mounts, engine (and exhaust) move relative to chassis, and turn the extra muffler bracing into auxiliary engine mounts.

Yeah you don't want the mufflers to be tweaking the headers independent of the engine flanges. I would remove entirely.

This is good input as I didn't like the way it turned out. I was trying to get as much movement out as I could. My problem is the slip joint, you can't make it rigid enough. Now thanks too all y'all comments I have a better solution. Remove one of the braces and put the other one inline with the center line of the pipe and spring load the slip joint. Once it's spring loaded it won't matter how much it moves around. Pictures in a couple of days.

A good option is to brace to the standard mounting spot on the back of the transmission cover. Since the trans and exhaust both move with the engine, there is no relative movement between them.

Agree. The brace from the Trans cover is sufficient. Eliminate the ones to the body. That'll cause problems.

The super trapps look good and sound good with little drone, if you have something with cross over (x-pipe, etc) you will get more power... I've played around alot with exhaust. Looking good!
