My Door Jam Sticker came from Car Bone. Very good quality.

Little details like that really make a restoration stand out.

So still working my “Christmas “ shopping. Diversion while “others” do their magic”…..almost makes me feel like “I “ am making progress.
Yesterday just got PMB restored front calipers…….started with sale price but of course had adder for a problem…..legit just another bump in the road. …….building character??

Nice work as always!
Rods being resized this week.
New rear rotors, restored front baking plate/shields.
Great help from EBS with thrust bearing which was made before quality went China.
Correct windshield washer “jets” ( careful over priced)
The list goes on…….but y’all know that.
Set back du jour …….heater tubes full of “residual” soda…….requiring replacement when longs did not. Oh what fun……..ca-Ching!
Stay tuned……..

I had the boys at PMB rebuild my 914 calipers, worked perfect. So far as other details, they seem to never end, keep moving forward and soon you will be at the finish line. Great progress

Love the oil line , I need that for my 6; is there any way I could get a copy? Who did the work ? How bad is the cost for this custom oil line? Any help would be greatly apricated.

I tried to have them made years ago. Lost a ton of money on them as couldn’t get them to hug the case fitting like the original.

Just to clarify, that is OEM part refinished…..Was able to piggyback on Tru-6 project.
Good luck but it could be long search.
Sadly I had a new OEM one that I sold a few years ago…….thinking I would NOT do a restoration……

This was today……Attached Image
I was looking back at this thread and “we are ready to build engine” was in December….
but as we all know shut happens especially when youre not the actual builder.
He started a brother in law project and when rods were measured the big ends had to be resized……..Didn’t take long but went to back of the line.
The crank/rods were assembled and found we got one wrong IMS bearing and a missing roll pin. Since my number for Weber restoration isn’t until November I guess there is no urgency.i guess this is how months turn into years!
